Dear members,
Here is the February edition of our newsletter! On the agenda: a look back at the November minicamp, updates from our delegations and our 2026 summer camps, our search for suitable camp and meeting locations, and a reminder of upcoming events.
Recap of the November 2025 Minicamp
JB and children gathered last November for our traditional minicamp — a wonderful opportunity to reconnect and, for some, to discover the CISV atmosphere and rhythm.
The minicamp began on Friday evening for JB members (15+) so they could spend time together and finalize the weekend’s activities. The younger participants arrived on Saturday morning, and from there everything went by quickly. Activities followed one another to offer a wide range of experiences. The sun was shining, so your children were also able to enjoy time outdoors!
We’re already looking forward to spending another weekend together this coming April for the spring minicamp 🙂
News from the Junior Branch
The November minicamp hosts the annual election of the new National Junior Representative (NJR). This year, we say goodbye to outgoing senior NJR Tim, who held the role for three years! Thank you, Tim, for your commitment and everything you’ve done with the JB in recent years.
Clémence, elected last year, now becomes senior NJR and is joined by Léo, elected at the minicamp.
Since the minicamp, they have been preparing the JB Exchange Project, a collaboration with Belgium and the Netherlands focused on human rights — particularly access to food.
They are also preparing to send a delegation of four young people to the Wild West Weekend, an annual gathering of Junior Branch members from Western European countries. These weekends are an opportunity to build connections, compare issues across countries, and develop international projects.

The 2026 delegations have been confirmed. Our summer camps are as follows:

We are still looking for four boys (or girls) to complete our Youth Meeting delegations and one girl for Step Up 15. We are also looking for two leaders (21+ for one of our Villages and one of our Youth Meetings).
If you know any young people who might be interested in joining and enjoying an amazing experience, please reach out to the committee!
Focus On: Searching for Facilities for our Summer Camps/Minicamps
We are still looking for suitable locations to host our summer camps (holiday camps/scout centers that can accommodate at least 45 people, with large indoor and outdoor spaces, kitchens, separate showers and toilets) and our meetings (large rooms, ideally halfway between French‑ and German‑speaking Switzerland, available for free or for a modest fee).
If you know of suitable places, have useful contacts, or are available to help with the search, please get in touch with the committee.
Thank you in advance!
